Our New, Old Cabinet

Here is the antique cabinet that Renee referenced in the last post.  She found it at a local antique shop.  It needed a little TLC, but definitely cleaned up nicely.

When we brought it home, two of the legs fell off:

A pane of glass was broken:

The top shelf was falling off, and the wood looked pretty rough:

So, we reattached the legs, glued the shelf back on, and I learned how to cut glass (it only took me 3 tries to get it to fit without breaking).  Then, Renee spent a few hours cleaning and polishing.  Here is the end product:
